Poštovane kolegice i kolege,

U ime Organizacijskog i Znanstvenog odbora čast mi je i zadovoljstvo pozvati Vas na 6. hrvatski kongres medicinskih biokemičara s međunarodnim sudjelovanjem koji će se održati u malom slikovitom ali umjetnošću poznatom gradu Supetru na Braču.
Ovaj znanstveni skup bit će najznačajniji znanstveni događaj u Hrvatskoj 2009. godine, na kojem će se okupiti brojni domaći i međunarodno priznati stručnjaci u području medicinske biokemije i laboratorijske medicine. Pripremamo znanstveni program koji će pokazati najvažnija dostignuća u struci glede medicinsko-dijagnostičkih strategija i laboratorijske tehnologije te pokazati daljnje smjerove razvoja struke.
Naša je namjera predstaviti različite sadržaje s ciljem da se pokrije što šire  područje interesa.  
Brojni ugledni domaći i strani predavači osvijetlit će područje medicinske biokemije i laboratorijske medicine u kontekstu temeljnih i kliničkih znanosti, ali i njihove kliničke primjene.
Program Kongresa odvijati će se u obliku plenarnih i simpozijskih predavanja, kratkih priopćenja, postera i znanstvenih radionica.
Najnovija laboratorijska oprema biti će izložena tijekom cijelog Kongresa: nadamo se da nećete propustiti priliku da posjetite ovu izvrsnu izložbu.
Supetar i otok Brač prvi puta ugošćuje sudionike našega Kongresa, stoga ćemo se potruditi da uza stručno-znanstveni program iskoristimo dio vremena za zajedničko neobvezno i opušteno druženje u ovom slikovitom gradu te istodobno barem malo upoznamo jedinstvene ljepote ovoga otoka s jednom od najljepših plaža na svijetu. 

Pozivamo Vas da se aktivno uključite u rad Kongresa i svojim prilozima obogatite cjelokupni program te Vam želimo toplu dobrodošlicu.

Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee and Scientific Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 6th Croatian Congress of Medical Biochemists with international participation, to be held in Supetar on the beautiful Island of Brac.
This scientific event will be the most important scientific meeting in Croatia in 2009, gathering numerous domestic and international recognized professionals in the field of medical biochemistry and laboratory medicine. We are preparing a scientific program that will reflect major achievements in the field, both in medical-diagnostic strategies and more strictly technological terms as well as future development of the profession. Our intention is to present a variety of topics in order to cover the multiple areas of interest.
The renowned Croatian and international lecturers will shed new light upon the field of medical biochemistry and laboratory medicine in the context of basic science, clinical science, and clinical application. During the five days, the Congress will gather a great number of professionals from Croatia and our dear colleagues from abroad.
The program of the Congress will be organized as plenary lectures, symposia, short communications, and poster section, along with scientific workshops.
The most up-to-date laboratory equipment will be on display throughout the Congress; we hope you will not miss the opportunity of visiting this excellent exhibition.
Supetar and the Island of Brac is the venue of our Congress for the first time now, and we will do our best to allocate some time, apart from the professional-scientific program, to enjoy informal and pleasant moments in this picturesque town while also discovering the beauties of this island with one of the most beautiful beaches of the world.
