PUT DO SUPETRA
Do Supetra, jedinog mjesta na otoku Braču sa statusom grada, najjednostavnije je doći preko Zagreba i Splita, s tim da prva dionica puta, Zagreb - Split iznosi oko 375 km, dok je Supetar, na otoku Braču, od grada Splita udaljen oko 9 nautičkih milja.

TRAVEL TO SUPETAR

The simplest way to get to Supetar is through the cities of Zagreb and Split. The distance between the two cities (Zagreb and Split) is 375 km long, while Supetar, located on the island of Brač, is 9 nautical miles away from Split.

Od Zagreba do Splita moguće je doći na nakoliko načina:

autom - autocestom Zagreb - Split putovanje traje otprilike 4 sata (Slika 1.). Izlaz sa autoceste je mjesto Dugopolje iznad Splita, odakle se brzom cestom nastavlja preko Solina do Splita. Trajektno pristanište u Splitu je vrlo lako za pronaći. Kada se stigne u Split (iz bilo kojeg smjera) samo treba pratiti znakove "SPLIT CENTAR" ili SPLIT LUKA". autobusom - s Autobusnog kolodvora Zagreb dnevno kreće 20ak autobusa prema Splitu. Put traje 5, 6 ili više sati, ovisno o autobusnoj liniji. Autobusni kolodvor u Splitu smješten je u samom središtu grada Splita, neposredno pored gradske luke i željezničkog kolodvora. vlakom - iz samog centra Zagreba, sa Glavnog željezničkog kolodvora polaze vlakovi prema Splitu. Putovanje traje od 5 do 8 sati. Željeznički kolodvor u Splitu smješten je u samom središtu grada Splita, stotinjak metara od Autobusnog kolodvora. avionom - let avionom iz zagrebačke zračne luke Pleso do zračne luke Split traje oko 40 minuta. Zračna Luka Split od samog je grada udaljena 25 km (oko pola sata vožnje autom). There are several posibilities to travel from Zagreb to Split:

by car - take the highway from Zagreb to Split (Picture 1.) and you will travel for about 4 hours till you reach Dugopolje, where you leave the highway and take the road through Solin to Split. Once you are in Split, you can easily find the port - just follow the signs "SPLIT CENTAR" or "SPLIT LUKA". For more informations please visit the Croatian Autoclub web pages www.hak.hr .

by bus - about 20 buses a day depart from the Zagreb Bus station towards Split. The journey last for 5, 6 or more hours, depending on the bus line. The Split Main Bus Station is centraly located, near the Sea Port and the Main Train Station. by plane - the flight from Zagreb Airport, Pleso, to the Split Airport lasts about 40 minutes. The Split Airport is located 25 kilometres from the city of Split (about 30 minutes ride by car). PRIJEVOZ OD ZRAČNE LUKE SPLIT DO GRADA SPLITA:

• TAXI - za vrijeme otvorenosti zračne luke. Cijena taxi prijevoza iznosi od 40 do 80 eura, ovisno o tipu auta;
• Autobusi PLESO PRIJEVOZA - kreću iz zračne luke nakon slijetanja aviona Croatia Airlinesa i voze do Terminala Lučke kapetanije koji se nalazi stotinjak metara od Autobusnog kolodvora i Glavnog željezničkog kolodvora u Splitu.
• Međugradska autobusna linija Split - Trogir (broj 37) prolazi pokraj zračne luke svakih 20ak minuta.

Od Splita do Supetra na otoku Braču moguće je doći trajektom iz Splitske luke. Iz Splita prema Supetru izvan sezone polazi desetak trajekata (prvi polazak iz Splita je oko 5 sati ujutro, a posljednji trajekt plovi oko ponoći; prvi polazak trajekta iz Supetra prema Splitu je također oko 5 sati ujutro, dok je posljednju oko 22 sata i 45 minuta) sam put trajektom traje oko 45 min. Mjesto održavanja kongresa je od Supetarske luke udaljeno oko 1,3 km (Slika 2.).
Put od Zagreba prema Supetru ucrtan je na slici. Otok Brač obojan je crvenom bojom.

TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE CITY OF SPLIT:

• TAXI - aviable during the operating time of Split Airport. The cost of a taxi transfer is 40 - 80 EURO, which depends on the class of the transporter;
• "PLESO PRIJEVOZ" buses - depart from the Split Airport after the landing of Croatia Airlines planes. The final bus station in Split is the Harbour Office Terminal , also centraly located, only 100 meters from the Sea Port and the Main Bus and the Main Train Station in Split.
• Intercity bus line Split - Trogir (line number: 37) passes by the Airport every 20 minutes.

Supetar is conected with Split through a direct ferry line from Split Sea Port. About 10 ferries a day depart from the Split Sea Port, as well as from Supetar, during the post-season (the first one departs from Split at about 5 am ant the last one at midnight; the first departure from Supetar is also at about 5 am, while the last ferry departs at about 1045 pm) and the voyage lasts about 45 minutes.
